Amorphophallus konjac 'Leo Song' Bulb

$ 10.00 $ 14.00

Amorphophallus konjac 'Leo Song' is the foil to our 'Nightstick' corpse flower. While 'Nightstick' has a dark, almost black petiole, Amorphophallus konjac 'Leo Song' has a pale pink, freckled petiole. This plant looks like an umbrella-shaped tree for the warmer half of the year, and reverts back to a bulb in the colder winter months.

Although this is a type of Corpse Flower, you won't have to plan for the smell anytime soon. These bulbs are a few years away from flowering, but their foliage makes them a beautiful plant for indoor gardening!

These corms are sold dormant, ready to plant and grow!

Dormant corms sold only in the spring.

How to Grow

• Plant bulb 1-2" deep in a 4" pot with a drainage hole using well-draining soil. The pinkish "eye" of the bulb (the growth point) should be pointing up.
•  Grow in bright, indirect light.
•  When new growth appears, water and fertilize regularly through the growing season. We water when the top 1-2" of soil is dry to the touch.
• Stop watering completely when the foliage starts to die back in late fall. Let the soil dry, trim off the dead leaf, and keep the pot dry until spring. Each year, the plant will come back bigger and taller!

What to Expect

You'll get one (1) dormant Amorphophallus konjac 'Leo Song' corm that is ready to grow! Each bulb is about 1/2" wide. Includes detailed care instructions.
