Philodendron billietiae is a Jurassic-looking aroid with long, slightly wavy leaves and bright orange petioles. Native to South America, this epiphyte grows huge long leaves to capture as much filtered light as possible. Although its internodes are very short, Philodendron billietiae could benefit from a short moss pole, as it slowly climbs and grows aerial roots.

PLANT CARE

Light: Medium to bright, indirect light.
• Water: This plant is an epiphyte and can handle drying out. But we prefer to water when top 1"-2" of soil is dry to the touch.
• Considerations: This plant can't handle much direct sunlight. Extra humidity will help the leaves grow big and healthy. Keep away from heating/AC vents and drafty locations.
