Platycerium elephantotis - Elephant Staghorn Fern

$ 28.00 $ 42.00

Platycerium elephantotis is one of the most unique varieties of staghorn fern you can grow in the home. The Elephant Staghorn Fern has large shield fronds and wide antler fronds that don't split like other staghorn ferns. The long fronds have rounded ends and look more like elephant ears than antlers. This striking plant makes a huge impact wherever it grows!

Plant Care

 Light: Place in medium to bright, indirect light. Tolerant of more shade than other staghorn varieties.
• Water: Water when the top of soil feels dry to the touch. Do not let fully dry out.
• Considerations: This plant like more consistent moisture than other species of Platycerium. Water before this plant shows signs of wilt, because it will not always bounce back from complete drought. This plant thrives with a little extra humidity.
